Well before you jump into that, I guess it’s good to let yourself get acquainted first with the terms and jargon in the blogosphere. Here is a blogging dictionary that beginners like you ought to get familiarized with first.
Post – as a noun it is synonymous to an article that makes the content of your blog. As a verb this means the act of updating or putting something in your blog.
Comments – blogs are meant to be a venue for expression and sharing. Comments are usually reactions of your readers after reading your post.
Comment spam – contrary to comments, comment spam are messages left after your post intended to point a link to a particular website. They commonly appear in few words then a link.
Categories – although a blog must be under a specific niche, categories are meant to help a blogger subdivide content. Categories help readers scan through your blog’s content easily.
Pings – through blogging tracking websites, pings allow readers browse through recently updated blogs. Pings help a lot in bringing traffic to your blog.
These five words are just a first from the terms you should get to know if you plan to make money blogging. With experience and time, you would soon get to know them all.
